Day trip, $400 per person
Guests embark on an incredible guided journey down the Wolf River, to a small remote lake, where they are picked up by float plane and returned to the lodge. Starting from the mouth of the Wolf River, guests paddle and float down the river approximately 20 km (12.5 miles) to a well marked pick up area. From here there is a short (1/2 mile) portage to the pick up lake on a good trail. A boxed lunch is packed, guests are encourage to take their time, enjoying the excellent grayling fishing and scenery along the way.
Guests experiencing this adventure will experience class II and class III rapids. Novice guests are encouraged to include a guide from the lodge for this trip, and some instruction and safety training will be provided before the paddle. Guests are provided with a hand held GPS as well as a SPOT tracker for added peace of mind.
Guests will start their Journey at 10:00 a.m., and arrive back at the lodge for dinner, and will have time for an evening of fishing on Wolf Lake, and enjoying the midnight sun.
